Honor X9d proves its durability with a 48-hour test at Dinh Mountain.

Approaching the three and a half hour mark and conquering one-third of Mount Dinh, the battery was still at 99%. After more than five hours of trekking to the summit of La Ban, the Honor X9d still had 93% battery. At 4:30 PM, after nearly six and a half hours of continuous travel, the battery was still stable at 92%. Even after watching movies, listening to music, and playing games non-stop in the evening, the battery still had 64% remaining at 11:26 PM.

On the second day at Nam Ho rocky stream, when the team's action camera only had 28% battery left, the Honor X9d continued to "carry the team" with its 7.5W reverse charging capability, acting as both a power bank and allowing for smooth recording and shooting. Even when the battery level dropped to single digits, the ultra-power saving mode was activated, and with only 2% battery remaining, the device still maintained many tasks as advertised.

At the end of the test, the Honor X9d remained stable with only 1% battery remaining and did not shut down, completing a full 48 hours of continuous use. This demonstrates the Honor X9d's long-lasting energy, capable of lasting for more than two days.

Challenging harsh conditions

Right at the beginning of the climb, while one member was running and filming, the Honor X9d fell heavily onto the road and the screen protector was scratched. However, when peeled off, the glass underneath remained intact, the touch function was smooth, and the frame was not deformed at all. During dinner, an unexpected incident occurred when boiling hotpot broth spilled directly onto the Honor X9d. Immediately afterward, the team pushed the limits further by using the edge of the phone to cut a watermelon in half. Despite overcoming all the challenges, the Honor X9d only suffered minor scratches to the frame, while the glass, back panel, touchscreen, and all features remained fully functional until the end of the test.

Entering the stream area, the Honor X9d unexpectedly slipped from the user's hand right at the water's edge and was splashed directly onto its body. Thanks to its wet-finger touch sensitivity and ability to be used even while wearing gloves, the Honor X9d still responded quickly, allowing users to play games underwater. Members of GenZ Vietnam praised this as a significant advantage of the IP69K water and dust resistance rating, which is rare in this price range.

At Nam Ho rocky stream, the group further increased the challenge by placing the phone directly under the fast-flowing water, allowing the water to pour directly onto the device. The Honor X9d's screen remained lit and the touchscreen worked normally. One member even sat in the stream, submerging himself while playing PUBG smoothly without any interruptions.

Stable camera and practical AI features.

On the summit of La Bàn, where the light constantly changes due to rapidly drifting clouds, the 108MP camera still manages to capture detailed skies, the dark areas on the mountain aren't completely black, and the characters' skin tones appear natural, just as the reviewer noted regarding HDR and skin tone capabilities.
