Bac Ninh has 26 ID card issuance points and 99 electronic identification account issuance points.

BAC NINH - According to Bac Ninh Provincial Police, the province currently has 26 ID card issuance points and 99 electronic ID account issuance points for citizens. Starting today (July 2), people can go to these locations to carry out administrative procedures for new issuance, replacement of ID cards and issuance of electronic ID accounts.

For convenience and to save time, citizens residing in the province can go to the nearest location to complete the procedures for submitting applications for electronic identity cards and identification.

Officers from the Administrative Police Department for Social Order (Provincial Police) receive applications for identity cards from citizens.

Observations at the reception and results delivery department of the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order (Provincial Police) on Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Bac Giang Ward, on the morning of July 2nd showed that the number of citizens coming to complete administrative procedures for receiving applications for identity cards and electronic identification was three times higher than in the days before the merger. At other locations, the number of citizens coming to complete identity card procedures was sparse.

Major Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Team Leader of the Registration and Management of Residence, Issuance and Management of Identity Cards, Department of Administrative Management of Social Order Police (Provincial Police), said: “The increase in the number of citizens coming to some locations to receive identity card applications compared to normal days is due to the desire to change their identity cards after the province merger, fearing it will affect the handling of related administrative procedures. However, we affirm that the province merger will not affect the handling of administrative procedures for citizens. People are not required to change their identity cards because their residence information has already been updated in each person's VNeID electronic identity card application.”

Citizens in the province can go to the following 26 locations to obtain their identity cards:

Location No. 4: Yen Dung Ward Police Station, address: Hoang Hoa Tham Street, residential group No. 2, Yen Dung Ward (formerly the Yen Dung District Police headquarters).

Location No. 5: Viet Yen Ward Police Station, address: 437 Hoang Hoa Tham Street, Residential Group No. 2, Viet Yen Ward (formerly the Viet Yen Town Police Station).
