BDK.VN - On the morning of April 4, 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Giong Trom district organized the handover of 10 Great Solidarity houses to the people. Attending the ceremony were Executive Director of the Vietnam Green Environment Support Fund Le Do Quyen; Secretary of the District Party Committee Nguyen Thai Binh - Head of the Steering Committee for the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the district.

Handing over 10 Great Solidarity houses to people in Giong Trom district

Hand over the decision to the households receiving the house.

With the mobilization of former Politburo member - former National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Tre province, the Vietnam Green Environment Support Fund was mobilized to sponsor 600 million VND to build 10 Great Solidarity houses for people in Giong Trom district.

The houses built have an area of 36m2 to 54m2, the total construction cost of each house is from 62 million to 85 million VND, of which the Vietnam Green Environment Construction Support Fund sponsors 60 million VND for each house, the rest is contributed by the family.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Ben Tre province awarded a certificate of merit to the Vietnam Green Environment Support Fund for actively supporting the construction of Great Solidarity houses for poor people in Ben Tre province. Representatives of the sponsoring unit, the People's Committees of My Thanh and Luong Hoa communes and the Town sent many meaningful gifts to the households.
