At 10 p.m., the strongest wind near the storm center was level 13 (134-149 km/h), gusting to level 16. The storm moved northwest at a speed of about 25 km/h.

Forecast in the next 24 hours, the storm in the North East Sea area, about 440 km northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago, moving northwest at 20-25 km per hour, continues to weaken. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 11, gusting to level 14.

At 10 p.m. on November 19, storm No. 9 in the west of the North East Sea, about 210 km north of Hoang Sa archipelago, changed direction to West, then West Southwest, speed about 15 km, continuing to weaken. The strongest wind near the storm center was level 8, gusting to level 10.

At around 10pm on November 20, the storm in the sea northwest of Hoang Sa archipelago changed direction to the southwest, speed about 10 km/h and gradually weakened into a tropical depression. The strongest wind near the storm center was level 6, gusting to level 8.

From the next 72 to 96 hours, the tropical depression moved in the southwest direction, traveling 5-10 km per hour, gradually weakening into a low pressure area.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the night of November 17 and 18, the North East Sea (including the Hoang Sa archipelago) will have strong winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9, of which the eastern sea will later increase to level 8-9, the area near the storm's eye will have levels 10-13, gusting to level 15. The sea will be rough, with waves 2-4 m high, and 5-7 m high near the storm's eye.

On November 18, the wind in the Gulf of Tonkin gradually increased to level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas, waves 1.5-2.5 m high.

In addition, from the night of November 17, the eastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea will have storms.

On the night of November 18 and 19, the North East Sea (including Hoang Sa archipelago) has strong winds of level 6-7, near the storm's eye level 8-9, gusts of level 12, waves 4-6 m high, near the storm's eye 7-9 m, very rough seas. In the Gulf of Tonkin, strong northeast winds of level 6, gusts of level 7-8, waves 2-3.5 m high, rough seas.
