On June 2, information from Quang Tri Provincial Police, the unit has just coordinated with Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police to consecutively arrest 2 cases of illegal possession and trafficking of large quantities of drugs.
According to the police, on the afternoon of June 1, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, the Provincial Police, in coordination with the Drug Control Team of the Provincial Customs Department, Lao Bao Border Guard Station and Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police, discovered and arrested two subjects illegally trading in up to 1kg of synthetic drugs in Loc Bon Commune, Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province.

The subjects include: Phung Thanh Thinh (born in 1991) and Hoang Phi Hung (born in 2005), both residing in Thuy Duong ward, Huong Tra town, Thua Thien Hue province.
Previously, on the evening of May 31, in Luong Le village, Tan Hop commune, Huong Hoa district, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, the Provincial Police presided over and coordinated with the Customs, Provincial Border Guard, and Coast Guard Division 2 to arrest Nguyen Minh Vuong (born in 1984), residing in Quarter 3 (Ward 4, Dong Ha city), seizing 36,000 synthetic drug pills.
Quang Tri Provincial Police are continuing to investigate and clarify the case in accordance with the law.
