Dak Lak Border Guard commends reporters and journalists with outstanding achievements in propaganda work

Attending the meeting were leaders of the Party Committee, Command and leaders of departments, offices and units of Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard; leaders of the Department of Information and Communications, the Provincial Journalists Association and journalists, reporters, heads of representative offices of central and local press agencies. In recent times, the Party Committee and the Border Guard Command of Dak Lak province have always been deeply aware of the position, role and importance of propaganda work in the task of protecting territorial sovereignty , building a people's border defense, developing the socio-economy of border areas, and firmly protecting national sovereignty and border security.

Specifically, in 2023, the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command organized hundreds of journalists and reporters from central and local press agencies and press agencies in the People's Army to work at units with 460 columns, special pages, news, articles, photo reports, and quality television reports on the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard and border communes. In particular, focusing on enhancing the content of news and articles on central channels; news and articles on border management and protection activities, helping people develop the economy and society, and gratitude activities; coordinating propaganda to combat and refute wrong and hostile views of reactionary and opportunistic subjects in cyberspace.

The quality of news, articles and reports about the Border Guard and the border area of Dak Lak province published in newspapers, radio and television stations is increasingly high, diverse in form, rich in content; reflecting realistically, vividly, closely following the practical situation of the border and border areas; having educational, combative and deeply humane qualities... are highly appreciated by all levels, contributing to encouraging, motivating and helping border guards to complete their political tasks, building a strong and comprehensive "exemplary and typical" unit.

More significantly, in addition to reporting and writing articles about activities on the border, in 2023 and early 2024, the Dai Doan Ket Newspaper, which is a resident of the Central Highlands, will also coordinate with the Provincial Border Guard to call for kind hearts inside and outside the province to build 2 Dai Doan Ket houses for the family of Mr. Vo Truong Giang (in Ia Lop commune, Ea Sup district) and Ms. H' Duong Nie, a relative of a Heroic Vietnamese Mother (in the border commune of Krong Na, Buon Don district), each house worth 100 million VND; support 300 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to encourage people in border communes to stabilize their lives, rise out of poverty, and participate in building a strong border area.

At the meeting, delegates thanked the Party Committee and the Provincial Border Guard Command for creating favorable conditions for journalists and reporters from press agencies to work in the border area over the past year, and at the same time discussed and proposed contents and solutions to improve the effectiveness of propaganda coordination in the coming time.
