(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of August 23, the To Hieu Political School, in coordination with the Department of Internal Affairs, held the closing ceremony for the training courses on skills, professional expertise, and in-depth knowledge of religious affairs in the city in 2024 (Phase 1). Attending the closing ceremony were: Mr. Nguyen Kim Pha, Principal of the To Hieu Political School; Ms. Dang Phuong Lien, Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; and leaders from the Religious Affairs Department and the Department of Internal Affairs.

The delegates participated in the flag-raising ceremony.

The first phase of the 2024 training course on skills, professional expertise, and in-depth knowledge of religious affairs in the city, consisting of three classes, commenced on August 19, 2024, with a total of 216 participants. Participants studied topics such as: The Party's viewpoint, policies, and laws of the State on belief and religion, and some issues requiring attention in the implementation of the Party's viewpoint and policies and laws of the State on belief and religion; Beliefs and the situation of religious activities in Vietnam and Hai Phong ; New religious phenomena in Vietnam and Hai Phong today, and issues requiring attention in management; Skills and professional expertise in accessing and processing information in the field of belief and religion. State management of beliefs and religions in Hai Phong city today... The trainees also heard practical reports on some issues regarding the implementation of work to mobilize and unite religions in Hai Phong.

Graduation certificates were awarded to the students.

At the end of the course, the Principal of To Hieu Political School recognized the completion of the course and awarded graduation certificates to the students.

Through this training course, participants are equipped with and updated on basic knowledge and skills that contribute to enhancing their leadership capacity and their ability to concretize and creatively apply the Party and State's guidelines, policies, and strategies to state management of religion; they will also be able to combat and refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints that exploit religious issues to undermine the Party and State, and distort the freedom of religion and belief in our country. This is also an opportunity for those working in state management of religion at the grassroots level to improve their knowledge and skills in state management of religion...
