The patient is Ms. NTT (76 years old, living in An Thuong commune, Hai Duong city). Previously, Ms. T. bought herbal medicine of unknown origin on social networks to drink.

After three days of using herbal medicine, Ms. T. began to experience increasing fatigue and difficulty breathing. On May 12, she was admitted to Military Hospital 7 in a state of severe respiratory failure and low blood pressure.

Through examination and evaluation of paraclinical results, the doctor determined that the patient had severe respiratory failure, cardiovascular collapse, hyperkalemia, and multiple organ failure.

The Intensive Care Unit of Military Hospital 7 quickly organized a hospital consultation, combined with the consultation with experts from Military Central Hospital 108 to agree on an emergency treatment regimen for Ms. T.

After 15 hours of continuous emergency dialysis, Mrs. T.'s condition gradually stabilized. Test results showed that her blood potassium level returned to normal, and her liver and kidney functions recovered. Two days after being removed from the ventilator, the patient was fully conscious and able to breathe on her own.

As of May 16, the patient's health condition has stabilized.
