On the afternoon of July 20th, IME Vietnam issued a statement confirming that the two Blackpink concerts in Hanoi will be held on a scale similar to their other performances globally. They also affirmed that the list of 13 songs circulating online is inaccurate.

The organizers have sent a message: "Fans can rest assured that the number of performances each night, as well as the quality of the music, will satisfy and meet their expectations."

Notably, in addition to group performances, IME also revealed that there will be solo performances by each member. This is considered an attractive topic for Vietnamese audiences because the four girls from YG Entertainment are releasing individual products with strong personal touches.

Specifically, Jisoo is like a radiant flower in her newly released solo song "Flower," Jennie Kim is irresistibly charming with "You & Me," Rosé Park shines with "Gone & On the Ground," and Lisa performs two hip-hop-infused songs, "LALISA" and "Money."

In the Asian market in general and Vietnam in particular, Blackpink has a significant influence. However, the number of "fan only" (fans dedicated to each member) is quite large. Therefore, the appearance of solo performances on the show is extremely exciting and anticipated by the audience.

It is known that at other venues, each Blackpink member had their own solo stage. This also happened at the Coachella Music Festival (USA) - a major international event.

Previously, information circulated on social media suggesting that the four members of Blackpink would not have solo stages in Vietnam, which disappointed the public.

Regarding the upcoming concert, the Organizing Committee also stated that they have assembled a team of international experts from South Korea, the United States, Canada, Singapore, and Thailand to work alongside Vietnamese experts, ensuring mastery of a massive amount of equipment, 80% of which is imported from abroad, to guarantee the highest quality.

On June 30th, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports issued a document approving IME Music Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City) to organize the Blackpink World Tour 2023 art program on July 29th and 30th at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi).

On July 4th, when the organizers announced the ticket prices for the Born Pink concert, many audience members discovered that the homepage of the organizers' website displayed a map containing the illegal "nine-dash line."

On the afternoon of July 5th, Mr. Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, stated that the Ministry had instructed the Department of Performing Arts and related units to verify information regarding the company organizing the Blackpink concert supporting the "nine-dash line" (South China Sea territorial claim).

On July 6th, IME – the organizer of Blackpink's show in Hanoi – announced that they had worked directly with and sent a letter of explanation to the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and other relevant ministries and agencies regarding the "support for the nine-dash line" incident.

Brian Chow, CEO of IME Music Co., Ltd., offered an apology and stated: "The map image on the website does not represent any national territory, and we are aware of the importance of respecting the sovereignty and culture of all countries where IME operates."

IME promptly reviewed and committed to replacing any images deemed inappropriate for the Vietnamese people. IME's goal in Vietnam is to bring world-class programs and artists to Vietnamese fans, and we hope to receive the support of local authorities and the Vietnamese people."
