The Provincial Military Command organized a ceremony to launch the Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho.

On February 24, at the DBĐV Training Center in Phuoc Vinh Commune, Ninh Phuoc District, the Provincial Military Command (CHQS) organized a ceremony to launch the 2024 Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho. Attending and chairing the ceremony was Colonel Luu Xuan Phuong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, commander of the Provincial Military Command.

At the launching ceremony, Colonel Luu Xuan Phuong thoroughly grasped the purpose and significance of planting trees and requested the Party committees and commanders of agencies and units to continue to do a better job of propaganda, education , and raising awareness for each officer and soldier about the role, great significance, and humanistic value of implementing Uncle Ho's words on planting trees, afforestation, forest protection, and ecological environment protection, creating a widespread movement throughout the army; organize and launch the Tree Planting Ceremony in accordance with the conditions of the agency and unit, ensuring practical effectiveness.

Colonel Luu Xuan Phuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, planted trees at the launching ceremony.

After the launching ceremony, the leaders of the Provincial Military Command and officers and soldiers of the BB896 Regiment planted 1,500 trees, including star apple, acacia, black star, and jackfruit trees on the DBĐV training ground. According to the plan, the Provincial Military Command strives to achieve the target of planting 11,000 trees throughout the province's armed forces.
