According to the approved design documents, Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company will carry out the construction of the new barrier installation, the installation location coincides with the base of the protective barrier at alley 1334, Pham Van Thuan street (Tam Hiep ward, Dong Nai province). Therefore, the construction unit will proceed to dismantle this barrier to install the barrier at the correct design location.
During the period from the removal of this barrier until the project is accepted and put into use, the railway protection work at alley 1334 is still handled by the local authorities. The security work is done by temporarily using ropes instead of barriers, combined with whistles, flags, and signal lights to warn people and vehicles. It is expected that on November 3, when the new barrier is put into use, the security work at alley 1334 will be stopped.
This is the location of a very serious railway traffic accident on the evening of July 29, 2024, when train SNT5 traveling from North to South collided with a pickup truck with license plate 60C-597.05. As a result, 2 people died on the spot and 3 people were taken to the emergency room.
