On August 14, the Ministry of Health 's working group No. 6, led by Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan - Deputy Minister of Health, inspected and grasped the implementation of decentralized tasks, decentralization, and authority assignment in the health sector and the organization and arrangement of health facilities when implementing the 2-level local government model at the Long Ho Regional Health Center.

According to the report, after the reorganization, Long Ho Regional Medical Center will focus on implementing the following tasks: Improving the quality of medical examination and treatment to provide adequate and quality technical services according to the referral system, and developing new technical and professional services.
Strengthening the network organization system and enhancing emergency capacity at regional health centers and commune health stations; implementing prevention and control of dangerous epidemics, managing non-communicable diseases, improving population quality, ensuring food hygiene and safety... Regarding the organizational structure, there are changes: reducing 1 department, 12 health centers merged into 3 affiliated health centers.

After the merger, medical examination and treatment work will operate continuously, without interruption, without causing inconvenience to patients. Ensuring enough medicine, chemicals, and supplies to serve patients; disease prevention work ensures good monitoring and supervision of epidemics in the management area and timely handling to prevent epidemics from occurring.
On this occasion, Long Ho Regional Health Center proposed that the Ministry of Health coordinate with Vietnam Insurance to guide medical examination and treatment facilities to settle health insurance payments after implementing electronic medical records (removing paper medical records) and has been announced by the Department of Science , Technology and Training of the Ministry of Health on the electronic information portal. It is recommended to soon issue a circular guiding the functions, tasks and organizational structure of commune health centers to replace Circular No. 33/2015/TT-BYT because it is no longer appropriate.
