Nhu Y is one of four outstanding members who have just been admitted to the Party by the Party Committee of An Bien High School. Holding a copy of President Ho Chi Minh 's "Revolutionary Path", Nhu Y shared: "Being admitted to the Party is a great honor for me. I am more aware of the responsibility of a young Party member, not only to study hard but also to live exemplary lives, spreading positive values to friends and the community."
Last June, Ly Tieu Long - a 12th grade student at Dong Thai Secondary and High School officially became one of the school's exemplary 18-year-old party members. Long shared: "This is a great source of pride for me and my family. From the moment I took the oath under the Party flag, I told myself that I must constantly train and strive to be worthy of the trust that my teachers, the Youth Union and the Party have placed in me."
Born into a working-class family, Long soon developed a spirit of independence and a desire to excel. For many years, he was an excellent student and an active member of the Youth Union in movement and volunteer activities. The day he was admitted to the Party, Long proudly showed it off to his parents. “My father happily said: ‘So you’re really grown up!’ And I understood that from now on, I would not only live for myself but also for the collective, for the ideals I had chosen,” Long confided.
Proactively create resources, focus on quality
To develop young party members right from school, school party committees and party cells have flexibly applied many good and creative methods suitable for students' ages. At Dong Thai Secondary and High School, the work of developing the Party among students is always considered one of the key tasks. According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of Dong Thai Secondary and High School, since the beginning of the school year, the school's Party Committee has directed the school's Youth Union and homeroom teachers to coordinate in reviewing and closely monitoring each outstanding youth union member and student, from which the school has developed a training plan and created a source of Party admission.
One of the highlights is the integrationof education on life ideals through inspiring extracurricular activities such as the forum “The Party in the hearts of youth”, the contest to learn about Uncle Ho and the revolutionary tradition of the homeland, activities to return to the source, visits to historical sites… “We do not follow admission quotas but care about quality. Only truly outstanding students with clear ambitions and life ideals are considered for admission. Each student admitted to the Party is a role model, having a positive influence in the school”, said Mr. Vinh.
The Party Committee of Dong Thai Secondary and High School currently has 4 affiliated Party cells with 62 Party members. From 2020 to present, the entire Party Committee has developed 17 Party members, including 7 students.
An Bien High School has a long tradition of 46 years of establishment. The Party Committee has always focused on developing party members among students, and has been implementing them in more and more depth. Currently, the school's Party Committee has 54 party members, including 9 students. Mr. Pham Duc Hoai - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of An Bien High School said that through competitions, emulation movements, cultural and artistic activities, physical education and sports, the school selects outstanding union members to nurture and create resources. After careful review, the school's Party Committee assigns party members to monitor, help and guide union members in their efforts.
In addition to sending outstanding members to participate in the Party sympathy class, An Bien High School also creates conditions for students to participate in local social work, exam support activities, green Saturday programs, volunteer Sundays, etc. to cultivate a sense of responsibility and attachment to the community. The school's Party Committee focuses on building a close and positive political and ideological education environment in every class. Stories about Uncle Ho and revolutionary traditions are vividly integrated into homeroom classes, civic education and after-school activities, helping students approach revolutionary ideals in a natural, gentle but profound way.
Through practical, methodical and dedicated methods, the Party Committee of An Bien High School, Dong Thai Secondary and High School has developed quality young Party members.
