Eat and chat with relatives of martyrs |
At the program, the officers and members of the Women's Union kindly asked about health, shared and encouraged the spirit; at the same time, together cleaned and sanitized the house grounds, creating a clean and cozy space for the families.
Local women's union officials also personally prepared intimate, nutritious meals to gather, talk, encourage and share difficulties in life with relatives of the meritorious people.
Ms. Ho Thi My, a relative of the martyr's family, currently living alone in Pho Lai village, Dan Dien commune, was moved: "Not only on War Invalids and Martyrs Day but also on normal days, the association at all levels always cares for single and disadvantaged members like me. Having meals together and chatting with female members makes me very happy and moved."
This is a small act but shows the deep gratitude of the local Women's Union to the relatives of martyrs and families with revolutionary contributions. From there, it spreads the spirit of humanity and solidarity, not leaving any woman behind, especially disadvantaged women, helping them feel shared and cared for.
