With the theme "Around the World with Saigon Beer," the Vung Tau Beerfest 2023 took place on September 2-3, covering an area of up to 100,000 m2 and featuring 40 food stalls. The event was organized by the People's Committee of Vung Tau City, in collaboration with Saigon Beer, Alcohol and Beverage Corporation ( SABECO ) and the Saigon Beer brand as the main and exclusive beer sponsor.

The 10-hour continuous EDM music night is one of the highlights of the Vung Tau Beerfest.
It is estimated that in just two days, the festival welcomed over 100,000 visitors who came to enjoy the culinary and beer styles of various countries at six different venues: Izakaya (Japan), Myeongdong (Korea), Khaosan (Thailand), BBQ garden (USA), Oktoberfest huts (Germany), Bui Vien and Ta Hien (Vietnam). In addition, the 10-hour EDM music night from the night of September 2nd to the morning of September 3rd, featuring many famous DJs, also attracted a large audience.

According to the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Department of Tourism, Vung Tau Beerfest was one of the main activities that contributed to attracting more than 363,000 tourists on September 2-3, generating hundreds of billions of VND in revenue.
Immersed in the lively festive atmosphere, Mr. TTDũng, a local resident, said this was his first time participating in a large-scale beer festival combining music and food. Not only was he delighted to explore beer-drinking styles from across continents, from Asia to Europe, but Mr. Dũng was also impressed with Saigon Beer's lemon-salt flavor – one of five limited-edition beers introduced by Saigon Beer to festival attendees, representing the beer flavors of five continents: Lemon-Salt (Vietnam), Sake and Lychee (Japan), Soju and Pineapple (Korea), Pilsner (Germany), and Lager (USA).

Experiencing beer and food in a space simulating Bui Vien and Ta Hien streets, two of the busiest and most vibrant streets in North and South Vietnam, Horstman, a tourist from the US, exclaimed, "We were lucky to be in Vietnam during your National Day and had the opportunity to try new and unique beer flavors. It was a memorable experience for me during this summer vacation. I really enjoyed the lime-salt beer because there was a burst of flavor in the can, unlike the typical beer flavors I usually find in the US."

According to the People's Committee of Vung Tau City, Vung Tau Beerfest will lay the foundation for a series of vibrant programs in the future to make Vung Tau an internationally renowned Festival City, affirming its position as a leading tourist destination for domestic and international visitors.
Mr. Bennett Neo, General Director of SABECO, also shared: "We hope all tourists and residents of Vung Tau will experience the unique style of beer drinking and feel proud when enjoying Vietnamese branded beer products brewed by Vietnamese brewers, each with its own distinct flavor. We hope that Vung Tau Beerfest will give tourists an interesting insight into Vietnamese beer culture, paving the way for other festivals in the future, helping to stimulate tourism in Vung Tau city as well as Vietnam. This is also SABECO's long-term commitment to promoting national tourism development and making Vietnam a leading destination in the region."

Tens of thousands of people attended a 10-hour EDM music night, one of the highlights of the Vung Tau Beerfest.
Beyond just Vũng Tàu Beerfest, SABECO has previously partnered with and organized numerous other cultural and culinary events, such as the Vietnamese Culture and Cuisine Festival in Quảng Trị in April 2023, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the 10th Southern Traditional Cake Festival in Cần Thơ, aiming to introduce and showcase the traditional dishes of Southern Vietnam to tourists from all over the country. Spreading the beauty of Vietnamese culture and cuisine, and contributing to the national tourism development strategy, is part of SABECO's commitment to sustainable development centered around four pillars: Country, Culture, Conservation, and Consumption, with the goal of bringing the best to Vietnam.
