The tasks of the Front must be measurable and verifiable.

On the afternoon of October 30, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Thanh ward (HCMC) held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending and directing the congress were comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. Also attending were comrade Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the Women's Union of Ho Chi Minh City.

For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Thanh ward agreed on 3 breakthrough contents.

In particular, the Front and its member organizations focus on propaganda and mobilization of people's consensus in the work of site clearance, compensation, and handover, creating high unity to implement key projects. At the same time, vocational training is organized, supporting the construction of projects to access start-up capital for union members; improving the quality of activities of the Front Work Committee, branches, and sub-branches, meeting the management requirements according to the 2-level local government model.

Along with that is promoting digital transformation, developing young human resources; applying digital technology in organizing activities of the Front and member organizations, improving management and operation efficiency.

In his speech directing the congress, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc acknowledged and praised the spirit of solidarity and innovation efforts of the ward Front system in the past time. He suggested that in the new term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Thanh ward should continue to strongly innovate in content, methods of operation and diversify forms of propaganda.

Accordingly, the ward Fatherland Front needs to closely follow the direction of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at a higher level, unifying the viewpoint that the tasks of the Front must be measurable and verifiable. The results obtained are not only qualitative perceptions but must enter into the material and spiritual lives of the people; the orientation of activities must understand each individual, social component, and have a practical impact on the lives of each person.

Accordingly, when implementing the action program, the Front must ensure benefits for the people, for each specific target group, especially the vulnerable group; contributing to promoting the implementation of the socio-economic development task of the ward. The implementation content needs to be politically profound, meaningful for national solidarity and closely connected with the people.

Along with that, in organizing activities and movements, the Front must promote the combined strength of the great solidarity bloc in the new model, with the same goal but with many forces participating. The ward Fatherland Front needs to research, build and apply the digital transformation model in the activities of the Front and socio-political organizations, strengthen management, connection and sharing, and promptly receive opinions and recommendations from the people.

He also suggested that the ward Fatherland Front should regularly propagate and mobilize people to actively participate in emulation movements in labor production, socio -economic development, take advantage of the potential and strengths of the locality to increase income and improve people's lives. At the same time, participate in movements to build green, civilized, modern, and humane urban areas; united, humane, and self-governing residential areas; movements on digital transformation, "popular digital education"...

The Ward Fatherland Front also needs to focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism work, selecting content that closely follows practical issues related to people's lives and the socio-economic development tasks of the locality.

He suggested that the Ward Party Committee regularly pay attention to training, fostering, planning and using cadres so that the Front can become stronger and stronger. According to Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, reality shows that if Front cadres are not dedicated, it will be difficult to complete their tasks and easily lead to the bureaucracy of Front work.

Therefore, the Front cadres must be politically steadfast, exemplary in ethics, proficient in professional skills and soft skills, especially digital skills; knowledgeable about the area, responsible and dedicated. When these requirements are met, the Front cadres will enhance their prestige and be up to the task.

The congress elected 51 members to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Thanh ward for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Tran Ngoc Toan was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward for the 2025-2030 term.
