Passenger vans with 16 seats or more and trucks over 1.5 tons are prohibited from entering the center of Sa Pa ward on the occasion of National Day holiday September 2.

This year's 4-day National Day holiday (August 30 - September 2) is expected to see a sudden increase in the number of vehicles and tourists coming to Sa Pa National Tourist Area in general and Sa Pa ward, Lao Cai province in particular.

To minimize the risk of traffic insecurity and congestion, Sa Pa Ward Police have deployed many plans to ensure traffic order and safety before, during and after the National Day holiday on September 2.

Banning passenger vans with 16 seats or more and trucks over 1.5 tons from entering the center of Sa Pa ward during the National Day holiday on September 2 helps reduce the risk of accidents and traffic jams.

Accordingly, passenger vans with 16 seats or more and trucks over 1.5 tons are banned from entering the center of Sa Pa ward. The ban period is from August 30, 2025 to September 2, 2025. Sa Pa ward also arranged 13 fixed checkpoints, 1 mobile checkpoint including the following forces: traffic police, Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police; police, youth union members of wards and communes... to carry out the task of traffic flow and guidance during the National Day holiday on September 2.

Authorities also recommend that residents and tourists should walk or use taxis to move from the pick-up and drop-off area to the center of Sa Pa ward during the holiday.
