Regarding the transportation of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers (called officials and civil servants) in Binh Duong (old) and Ba Ria - Vung Tau (old) to the Ho Chi Minh City Administrative Center and vice versa, Mr. Vu Anh Dung, Deputy Head of the Urban Development Department (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction) said that the department arranged 12 16-seat vehicles and 4 45-seat vehicles, equipped with wifi broadcasting equipment on the vehicles, making about 32 trips/day.

In the first days of organizing the pick-up and drop-off activities (from July 1 to 4), due to unstable work positions at administrative agencies or because officials and civil servants used personal vehicles to travel, the demand for pick-up and drop-off vehicles was low.

Since July 7, after stabilizing their jobs, the demand for transportation from Binh Duong (old) and Ba Ria - Vung Tau (old) to the Ho Chi Minh City Administrative Center has increased significantly. On July 7, 300 officials and civil servants were transported.

The Department of Construction forecasts that the demand for vehicles will continue to increase in the coming time. In particular, there will be a need for internal use by agencies such as the State Bank and tax authorities. Therefore, the Public Transport Management Center (under the Department of Construction) has coordinated with Phuong Trang Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company to mobilize and supplement separate vehicles for transporting officials, civil servants and public employees for these agencies.

Ho Chi Minh City's vehicles are arranged to pick up and drop off officials and civil servants from afar to work at the city's administrative center.

In the coming time, the Department of Construction will closely coordinate with other departments to collect statistics on the demand for shuttle buses to promptly meet the travel needs of passengers in the city. Specifically, the Public Transport Management Center has built groups to register for shuttle buses on the Zalo application, creating daily shuttle bus registration forms for officials, civil servants, and public employees to register for use. At the same time, it helps to collect statistics on the demand for shuttle buses of officials, civil servants, and public employees on a daily basis to coordinate with transport units to arrange shuttle buses suitable to the needs.
