Mai Dich Lake Park (Nam Tu Liem and Cau Giay districts, Hanoi ), covering more than 15 hectares, was once expected to be the "green lung" of the area. However, up to now, many items have seriously degraded.

The first time he came to Mai Dich Lake Park to jog, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan (Cau Giay District, Hanoi) said he saw many damaged bricks in the park, creating unsafe depressions for people. "I saw people falling down without paying attention. I hope this situation will be resolved soon," Mr. Tuan said.

People who often exercise here say that one of the reasons for the damage to the floor tiles in many areas is because the park still allows people to ride motorbikes freely.

Seen from above, the cracked and peeling paving stones around the lake create potential 'traps' for walkers and exercisers.

Not only is the pavement degraded, the restroom area in the park is also abandoned and has a notice posted saying "restroom not in use".

Every day, Mr. Truong Van Anh (71 years old, Hanoi) goes to Mai Dich Lake Park to exercise. He shared: "I see that the grass is not trimmed, many areas are degraded, making it uncomfortable for people to visit, stroll or exercise."

At night, the area around Mai Dich regulating lake park becomes unsightly due to the tables, chairs, and mats spread out everywhere by the businesses.

At night, the park area is pitch black, without a single light bulb.

Speaking with a reporter from Tien Phong newspaper, a representative of the Hanoi City Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board stated that the damage and deterioration of many project components are due to the project being in the process of being handed over to the district for management. The unit will make efforts to repair areas with fallen trees due to the storm, damaged electrical equipment, etc., in the near future.
