Beware of scams when buying tickets for "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Thorns"

According to information from the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention ( Hung Yen Provincial Police), on June 14-15, the Concert program "Brother overcomes thousands of obstacles" will be held at Vinhomes Ocean Park 3 in Nghia Tru commune (Van Giang district, Hung Yen).

The program features performances by many famous artists such as: Tu Long, Soobin Hoang Son, Jun Pham, Bui Cong Nam, Bang Kieu, Do Hoang Hiep, Quoc Thien, Kay Tran... The program is expected to attract a large number of people from other localities to Hung Yen.

Currently, according to the announcement of the program's Organizing Committee, tickets have been sold out on the website (www.ticketbox.vn). However, many people and fans are still looking to buy tickets that are being sold and transferred on social networking sites.

The Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (Hung Yen Provincial Police) said that some subjects used tricks to create fake social network accounts, fanpages, and create groups on social networks (facebook, zalo...) to post information and images about selling and transferring tickets to attend the program.

The person posting the information said they had purchased tickets but were busy with work and needed to transfer them or had excess tickets for seats in areas that were easy to see, near the artists.

The object of exchange with buyers is only to transact, pay online and ask buyers to transfer money via bank accounts. Buyers who are not vigilant in transferring money will be blocked from contact; if they join groups on social networks, they will be kicked out of the group.

To avoid being scammed, Hung Yen Provincial Police recommend that people need to raise their awareness and pay attention to information on the Facebook fanpage and the official ticket sales channel of the Organizing Committee of the program "Brother overcoming thousands of obstacles" in Hung Yen province.

In case of buying transfer tickets, people should prioritize forms of transaction and payment directly with the seller. Before buying tickets online, people should verify the seller's information; should not be careless in transferring money immediately to social network accounts with unknown information.

In case of suspicion of being scammed by scammers via social networks, people should promptly notify the police for support and resolution.

Preventing, detecting and denouncing acts of taking advantage of the organization of large art programs to defraud and appropriate property on cyberspace is the responsibility of every citizen to contribute to ensuring security and order and building the image, attracting tourists to Hung Yen./.
