
Inside the vehicle, Mr. Nguyen Van Liem (born in 1956, from An Giang province) was in critical condition with symptoms of respiratory arrest, foaming at the mouth, and exhaustion.
Recognizing that the lives of civilians were in danger, the officers and soldiers calmly handled the situation, quickly providing initial first aid, while simultaneously reporting to their commanders and assisting in transporting the patients and their families to Tan An General Hospital for emergency treatment.
Thanks to timely and professional action, the patient was immediately admitted to the hospital. Initial assessments indicated that Mr. Liem was at risk of acute heart failure or myocardial infarction – life-threatening conditions if not treated promptly.
According to information from the hospital and the family, Mr. Liem is now out of critical condition and is continuing to receive monitoring and care. The patient's family expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation for the timely assistance of the traffic police.
