"Giving wings" to bring Cao Bang OCOP products far and wide

Cao Bang province currently has 144 OCOP products with 3 and 4 stars. All products have stable markets. However, some products still face certain difficulties in expanding their markets and customer base.

In this context, the project team of “Noong Hue Cao Bang: A Bridge for OCOP Products - Elevating Tourism - Affirming Local Identity” (Noong Hue Cao Bang channel) has coordinated, promoted, and sold OCOP products through e-commerce and social media channels; while also developing experiential activities and promoting local culture and tourism, initially achieving good results.

Mr. Ninh Van Tuyen, Director of HATODO Limited Company in Bao Lac district, Cao Bang province, shared his appreciation for the effectiveness of the product promotion project "Noong Hue Cao Bang: Bridge for OCOP products - Elevating tourism - Affirming identity". He stated that his company has chosen the project as a partner to promote and expand its product market.

The "Nọong Huế Cao Bằng" channel promotes and introduces the Polygonum multiflorum (Ha Thu O) product from Bao Lac, Cao Bang province.

To date, through the Noong Hue - Cao Bang channel, the company has collaborated in promoting OCOP products, Bao Lac fragrant sticky rice, red Polygonum multiflorum extract, and purple indigo tea bags to customers near and far.

This has brought the company's products closer to customers. Many customers have become aware of, trusted, and chosen to buy the company's products. For example, with Bao Lac fragrant sticky rice, through intensified promotion and customer outreach, sales have increased nearly threefold, from about 20 tons of rice per year to nearly 60 tons of rice per year.

Most recently, a large company with branches nationwide signed a contract to purchase a large quantity of Bao Lac fragrant sticky rice to give as Tet gifts to its employees throughout the company, said Mr. Ninh Van Tuyen.

Sharing her thoughts on the project's formation and implementation, Ms. Phan Thi Hue, from the "Noong Hue Cao Bang" channel, said that Cao Bang province has many OCOP products with guaranteed quality and attractive designs, but the production facilities of these OCOP products have certain limitations in promoting and marketing them, bringing the products "closer" to customers.

Therefore, the "Nọong Huế Cao Bằng" channel, with 5 members, focuses on content creation and organizes live stream sales sessions on social media platforms like Facebook and TikTok to interact with customers and showcase the production and packaging process of products in a lively and engaging way.

In addition, the "Noong Hue Cao Bang" channel also creates promotional videos for partners to share on social media channels. Through this, it provides useful information to customers about OCOP products, cultural sites, and tourist attractions in Cao Bang.

The "Noong Hue Cao Bang" channel also accepts tour bookings, organizes tours to experience local culture, and introduces OCOP products of Cao Bang province to tourists and customers.

To date, the "Noong Hue Cao Bang" channel has connected with and organized tours for many foreign tourists to visit, travel, and experience the local cultural identity.

Tourists from the United Kingdom bought the Hoang Dieu conical hat from Cao Bang as a souvenir.

Among them, Lucas, a tourist from the United Kingdom, registered for a tour through the "Noong Hue Cao Bang" canal and was delighted to buy the Hoang Dieu conical hat, an OCOP product, to take back to the UK as a gift.

To date, the "Noong Hue Cao Bang" channel has partnered in promoting and selling 14 OCOP products from Cao Bang, such as Thach An fragrant pumpkin tea, Giao Co Lam tea, Ha Thu O extract, Hoang Dieu conical hat, Su Hao black jelly, etc.

Ms. Phan Thi Hue shared that, to date, the revenue of the "Noong Hue Cao Bang" channel is not high, and the remuneration for each member is not much, but the whole group has determined that the project and direction of the "Noong Hue Cao Bang" channel are on the right track and are committed to long-term involvement.

And the good news is that the whole team has contributed to promoting, introducing, and expanding the consumption of OCOP products from Cao Bang province both domestically and internationally; initially, the "Noong Hue Cao Bang" channel has also attracted advertising, helping to offset the costs of organizing activities.

The "Nọong Huế Cao Bằng" channel creates content promoting Cao Bằng's brocade textile products.

Through its activities, the "Noong Hue Cao Bang" channel has contributed to promoting, introducing, and selling OCOP products from Cao Bang province, helping to boost production and consumption, promote economic development, and achieve rapid and sustainable poverty reduction in localities within Cao Bang province.
