Fire at 4-storey house in Hanoi, 5 casualties

At around 7:45 a.m. today, May 13, when discovering fire and smoke rising from a 4-story house in the area, residents living on Thanh Cong Street (Quang Trung Ward) reported to the authorities to come to the scene to put out the fire and rescue victims.

At about 8:15 a.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.

According to the Office of the Hanoi People's Committee, the fire killed 4 people and injured 1 person. Immediately after receiving this information, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee directed the Hanoi Police to focus on investigating the cause of the fire.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee directed the Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the People's Committee of Ha Dong District to urgently visit the victims' families, organize to overcome the consequences, and stabilize the spirit and life of people in the area.
