14 films screened in the Film Series commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution

The opening ceremony will take place on the evening of August 12 at the Dak Lak Province Film Distribution and Screening Center. This year's film festival will introduce 14 outstanding works of many genres: feature films, documentaries and animations.

Many classic works of Vietnamese revolutionary cinema were shown on this occasion such as: Sao thang tam , Canh dong hoang , Hanoi mua dong nam 46 , Nga ba Dong Loc , Hanoi 12 days and nights ... Besides that, there were contemporary films such as Ba gia di bui , Ky uc Nam Xuan , Bay tren doi can do , Nguoi dong hanh dac da , Thuy binh song da ... and a series of folk animations such as Nguon loc , Su liet hoa trang nguyen , Chiec long ga hung .

From August 12 to 14, artist-audience exchange activities will take place in Dak Lak, with the participation of film crews such as Dao, Pho and Piano , Ba Gia Di Bui , and Ky Uc Nam Xuan . The exchange program will be held at the Mobile Police Battalion (August 12), the Provincial Military Command (August 13), and Tay Nguyen University (August 14).

In addition, the artist group will offer incense at the National Historical Site - a memorial site for soldiers marching south in Buon Ma Thuot and visit some typical cultural sites of the province.

The film series is an opportunity to pay tribute to history, while affirming the role of cinema in traditional education, spreading national values and connecting communities in modern life.
