On the morning of November 3, a working delegation of the Military Region 4 Command led by Major General Doan Xuan Buong, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 4, went to Cam Due commune ( Ha Tinh province) to inspect the work of overcoming the consequences of floods, visit and give gifts to local people and encourage officers and soldiers of the Ha Tinh armed forces who are on duty to provide relief there.

According to the Standing Office of the Command for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control (Civil Defense Command of Ha Tinh province), as of 11:00 a.m. on November 3, Ha Tinh province still had 3,849 households (a decrease of 1,528 households) flooded, of which Cam Due commune had 1,325 households, Cam Binh commune had 2,072 households, Cam Xuyen commune had 227 households, Ha Huy Tap ward had 216 households...; some inter-village and inter-commune roads were partially flooded. The whole province had 34/676 educational establishments with 18,464 students having to stay home from school due to floods.

The Military Command of Ha Tinh province arranged 11 boats and 7 cars to support the People's Committee of Cam Due commune to respond to floods, rescue and relief work; the Provincial Police mobilized 30 boats and canoes of various types; 1,000 round buoys; 1,500 life jackets; 20 life rafts to support flooded communes...

On the morning of November 3, at some locations in Cam Due commune - this is the commune located downstream of Ke Go reservoir that was most severely affected by the flood, the water has receded, officers and soldiers of Regiment 841 and the Defense Command of Region 3 - Ky Anh quickly deployed the work of cleaning up mud, dirt, garbage, cleaning the environment, washing, rearranging tables, chairs, teaching aids...

Major General Doan Xuan Buong also praised the proactive spirit and efforts of local Party committees, authorities and armed forces in proactively responding and evacuating people from deep flooded areas to safety.

The Political Commissar of Military Region 4 requested officers and soldiers of the armed forces to coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to continue to closely monitor the area, grasp the situation, and proactively respond to weather developments; support people with food, drinking water, necessities, and necessary medicines, ensuring that they do not suffer from hunger, cold, or lack of safe shelter; clean up as the water recedes to stabilize life and production; in particular, focus on difficult areas, single-parent families, and prioritize cleaning up the environment at schools to welcome students back to class soon.
