"When it comes to Japanese cuisine , Vietnamese people are now very familiar with sushi, ramen noodles, tempura, sake...; on the contrary, Japanese people always remember Vietnam through the image of bread, pho, spring rolls, coffee... The President expressed his joy at being able to enjoy the special dishes of his homeland right in Japan and was proud that there are more and more young Vietnamese people who are always full of enthusiasm, love their country, are willing to learn and make efforts to seize development opportunities in Japan like the two founders of the restaurant brand "Banh mi Xin Chao", Duy and Tam.

These efforts are not simply starting a business to earn a living, creating jobs and new values in Japan, but also helping to promote Vietnamese culture as well as bringing people of the two countries closer together through culinary culture.

The President also expressed his gratitude to large Japanese corporations and enterprises for their continued interest in Vietnam, with projects being successfully implemented in Vietnam, making great contributions to socio-economic development and improving the quality of life of the people. With the milestone of upgrading the relationship between the two countries to "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia and the World" yesterday, the President believes that this will be an important milestone, opening a new chapter in the development of the relationship between the two countries.

"Vietnam will continue to consider Japan as a leading important partner, ready to share and promote common strategic interests with Japan, for the development of each country and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world," President Vo Van Thuong affirmed.

Mr. Bui Thanh Tam, founder of the "Banh Mi Xin Chao" system, is a 3rd year student in the Faculty of Economics at Yokkaichi University (Japan). After 7 years of starting up, "Banh Mi Xin Chao" now has 14 stores and a mobile food truck in the central provinces of Japan - of which 1/2 are franchises. Recently, "Banh Mi Xin Chao" appeared on the Shark Tank Vietnam program and received 500,000 USD in exchange for 15% of shares as agreed by Shark Binh.

According to the sharing, one of the motivations that made Mr. Bui Thanh Tam determined to expand the chain was to improve the position of Vietnamese people in Japan. "Banh mi Xin Chao" is the link between the Vietnamese community of manual workers and the intellectual workers in Japan. When deciding to franchise the brand, Banh mi Xin Chao prioritized cooperation with compatriots, so currently most of the franchisees are overseas Vietnamese.
