Preparing to start construction of the Primary - Secondary Boarding School in Long Sap commune

On October 29, comrade Ha Trung Chien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting on preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Long Sap Commune Primary - Secondary Boarding School. Attending the meeting were leaders of relevant departments and branches. The meeting was held online to the Long Sap Commune bridge.

At the meeting, delegates heard reports on the progress of preparations, program content, and plans for the groundbreaking ceremony, scheduled to take place on November 2, 2025 in Phat village, Long Sap commune. Up to now, the site clearance work has been basically completed, the construction unit is leveling the ground, building camps, and completing items for the ceremony. Plans to ensure security, order, environmental sanitation, welcoming delegates, and arranging the venue have been carefully prepared.

Long Sap Primary - Secondary Boarding School is one of 13 schools deployed in Son La province according to the Conclusion Notice No. 81-TB/TW of the Politburo on the policy of investing in building schools for border communes. The project includes the following items: Classroom block, subject classrooms, library, Board of Directors' house; student dormitory, teachers' housing; student kitchen; multi-purpose house, swimming pool, outdoor sports field and other auxiliary items, meeting the scale of receiving more than 1,000 students.

The project's completion contributes to creating favorable conditions for children of ethnic groups in the Long Sap border area to study and train in a spacious and modern environment; contributing to improving people's knowledge and human resource quality, creating a source of cadres from local ethnic minorities, gradually improving the material and spiritual life of people in border areas, firmly consolidating national defense and security in border areas.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Ha Trung Chien requested relevant units to make thorough and comprehensive preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony, ensuring a solemn, practical, safe and economical organization, avoiding ostentation, formality and waste. He emphasized: Preparations require close and synchronous coordination between departments, branches, units and localities. Strictly comply with the provisions of the law on construction investment; ensure security, order and environmental sanitation throughout the ceremony.
