The Children's Moon puppet show donates all proceeds to support people affected by floods.

The program "Children's Moon" took place with many special performances.

Children's Moon Program The event was carried out by the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre under the policy of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to raise funds and support people in the northern provinces and cities that suffered heavy damage caused by storms and floods.

Director of the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre, People's Artist Nguyen Tien Dung shared: "This year's art program is held on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, in addition to the meaning of giving gifts to children, bringing them to the good and beauty of traditional art, it also has a higher purpose, of a community nature, which is to build a charity program, donate, and support people in the North after storm No. 3".

Audience, especially children, participated in supporting the program.

This year's Mid-Autumn Festival is different from previous years as it takes place in the context of the North being hit by storms and floods, all entertainment activities are temporarily put on hold. However, when attending the Children's Moon program, the children not only enjoyed the Mid-Autumn Festival to the fullest, but also joined hands, did meaningful work, contributed, and supported the flood victims. The contributions of the theater artists and philanthropists have demonstrated the tradition of our nation "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", People's Artist Nguyen Tien Dung shared.

The Children's Moon program is a combination of water puppetry and land puppetry. The puppet shows will recreate familiar fairy tales but are renewed through creative performances.

While watching art, the program also contributed to support people affected by storms and floods, leaving an impression on the children.

With a grand stage, modern and magical sound and lighting, the Children's Moon program is truly a meaningful spiritual gift for children and their families on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The Vietnam Puppetry Theatre will donate all revenue from the Children's Moon Program (taking place on the morning of September 15 and evening of September 16) to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support localities and people affected by storms and floods./.
