The 13th International Conference on Information Technology and Applications in Various Fields - CITA 2024 took place on July 19-20 in Da Nang, hosted by the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communications Technology (Danang University), in coordination with the Southeast Asian University Community for Innovation and Scientific Research (ACIR) and the Vietnam Association of Information Technology and Communications Faculties, Schools and Institutes (FISU Vietnam).
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Cong Phap, Rector of Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, said that CITA 2024 marks a remarkable development step, further affirming the prestige, scale and quality of an international conference, especially Volume 1 of the conference proceedings continues to be published in Lecture Notes in Network and Systems (Springer) in the DBLP, Scopus, and Web of Science databases.
This year's conference, the organizing committee received 173 scientific articles from more than 450 authors from more than 25 countries and territories around the world.
In addition, 37 other quality articles were published in Volume 2 (CITA 2024 International Conference Proceedings). Of these, 6 quality reports were selected for publication in the dedicated issue of the Journal of Research, Development and Application of Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communications Magazine of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
At the plenary session of CITA 2024, experts will hear two keynote reports by Prof. Dr. Kang-Hyun Jo (University of Ulsan, Korea) with the topic "Bird-Eye Vision based AI Service", and Prof. Dr. Gottfried Vossen (University of Münster, Germany) with the topic "Sharing and Trading Data and Language Models".
The conference will have 11 parallel reporting sessions with many interesting and currently developing topics in the fields of information technology, communications and digital economy including: Data science and artificial intelligence; image processing and natural language; software technology and information systems; networks and communications; digital economy.
In addition, CITA 2024 will have additional special reporting sessions on artificial intelligence and collective intelligence for social media; cybersecurity, cryptography and census; business intelligence in the digital economy; computer vision...
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Huynh Cong Phap, initiated in 2012, CITA is a forum that gathers and connects domestic and foreign scientists to contribute their intelligence, science and technology in the field of information technology and communications.
The CITA 2025 conference is scheduled to be held in Cambodia from July 18-19, 2025.
