Securities and real estate stocks hit the floor, VN-Index lost nearly 23 points

In the trading session on November 3, the selling pressure increased sharply in large-cap stocks, causing the Vietnamese stock market to shake strongly. In particular, the securities and real estate stocks became the focus when a series of codes "hit the floor". At the end of the session, VN-Index decreased by 22.65 points, down to 1,617 points.

Market liquidity increased compared to the previous session, with total trading volume on the three floors reaching more than 1,178 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of more than VND33,079 billion.

Foreign investors continued to net sell slightly on all 3 floors, more than 164 billion VND, focusing on codes VIX (283.78 billion VND), MBB (122.88 billion VND), STB (86.82 billion VND), VRE (84.61 billion VND), HDB (59.24 billion VND)...

In the opposite direction, the codes that were net bought a lot in this session included FPT (249.63 billion VND),ACB (117.79 billion VND), VJC (86.74 billion VND), HAH (75.76 billion VND), PVD (64.83 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session increased slightly compared to the previous session, reaching more than VND 27,750 billion.

This session, the codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increasing by 5.81 points included: VIC, BVH,FPT , KDC, CRV, SAB, BMP, PVD, QCG, BIC.

On the contrary, the codes that negatively impacted the VN-Index by 12.28 points included: TCB, VPB, STB, HPG, HDB, VRE, TCX, MBB, MSN, SSI.

In terms of industry groups, this session, software stocks performed positively, increasing by 0.79%, mainly from FPT, HPT, SBD... Some stocks decreased including CMG, ELC, ITD, CMT...

The group of securities stocks this session leaned towards red, with a decrease of 4.35%, mainly from codes TCX, SSI, VIX, VND, VCI, HCM, SHS, MBS, FUEVFVND, FTS... On the contrary, a few codes increased including DSC, VFS, IVS, FUEVN100, HVA, HAC...

Banking stocks traded mainly in red and closed down 1.85%, mainly from codes VCB, BID, CTG, TCB, VPB, MBB, ACB, HDB, STB,SHB , VIB... Some codes increased including SSB...

Real estate stocks this session were in the red and decreased by 0.23%, mainly from codes VHM, KSF, VRE, KDH, KBC, NVL, TCH, SJS, VPI, TAL... On the contrary, the codes increased including VIC, CRV, IDC, SIP, RGG, QCQ, LSG, AGG, LHG...

Energy stocks this session were mostly red, down 1.62%, mainly from codes BSR, PLX, PVS, OIL, PVT, VTO, PVC, GSP, POS... Increasing direction included codes PVD, CCI, HLC, PMS, ASP, PTX...

Insurance stocks traded mainly in green and closed down 6.27%, mainly from codes BVH, PVI, BIC, PTI, VNR, MIG, BMI, PRE, ABI, BHI...

Retail stocks performed negatively, down 1.9%, mainly from codes MWG, PNJ, FRT, HUT, HHS, PET, CTF, VVS, HAX, PEG... On the contrary, increasing codes included DGW, SVC, HTM, PSD, TSC, SHN, BTT, STH...

* The Vietnamese stock market index was in red today, VNXALL-Index closed down 53.87 points (-1.91%), down to 2,773.27 points. Liquidity with a trading volume of more than 1,116.78 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 31,734.75 billion. In the whole market, there were 112 stocks increasing in price, 75 stocks remaining unchanged and 297 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 259.18 points, down 6.67 points (-2.51%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 133.49 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND2,874.13 billion. In the whole market, there were 47 stocks increasing in price, 52 stocks remaining unchanged and 103 stocks decreasing in price.

The HNX30 index closed down 22.88 points (-3.99%) to 550.34 points. Trading volume reached over 108.13 million units, equivalent to over VND2,578.1 billion. In the whole market, there were 5 stocks increasing in price, 3 stocks remaining unchanged and 21 stocks decreasing in price.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM-Index closed at 114.63 points, up 1.17 points (+1.03%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached over 32.22 million shares, corresponding trading value reached over 718.98 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 103 stocks increasing in price, 89 stocks remaining unchanged and 127 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed down 22.65 points (-1.38%) to 1,617 points. Liquidity reached over 1,012.5 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND29,486.85 billion. The entire floor had 88 stocks increasing, 43 stocks remaining unchanged and 240 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index decreased by 27.72 points (-1.47%) and stopped at 1,857.64 points. Liquidity reached more than 410.14 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 15,469.4 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 4 stocks increasing, 3 stocks remaining unchanged and 23 stocks decreasing.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are FPT (more than 20.96 million units), GEX (more than 16.1 million units), PVD (more than 15.94 million units), NKG (more than 12.91 million units), LDG (more than 8.53 million units).

The 5 stocks with the highest price increase are VTB (+6.98%), SVC (+6.97%), ICT (+6.93%), HID (+6.92%), BVH (+6.89%).
