Ly Thuong Kiet Primary School received support from the police, army, parents and students.
At schools where water has just receded from the schoolyard, tables and chairs are being cleaned continuously. The muddy schoolyard was quickly raked clean and washed away in an urgent atmosphere. In the Kindergarten and Primary School, because the majority of teachers are female and the work is heavy and numerous, the support from the military, police and parents is extremely timely.
Images of soldiers carefully wiping each school tool, or fire police officers spraying water to wash away mud, moved anyone who witnessed them.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Hue City, schools will only resume teaching when facilities, environmental sanitation and traffic conditions are absolutely safe. But with today's spirit, the day students return to school and class will not be far away.
