A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company supports students in mountainous areas at the beginning of the new school year

DNO - A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company (AVC) has just had activities to support students at the beginning of the new school year in Ben Hien and Tay Giang communes, where the hydropower plant is located.

In Ben Hien commune, A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company coordinated with the commune government and Tran Phu Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities to present uniforms (blue pants, white shirts) to all students of the school.

To ensure the uniforms fit properly, the company worked directly with tailors to measure and tailor each child for uniforms. A total of 139 sets of blue pants and white shirts were given to the children on September 9.

Previously, in Tay Giang commune, company representatives attended the opening ceremony at Dang Primary and Secondary Boarding School and Dang Kindergarten. On this occasion, the company awarded 30 scholarships (VND 500,000/scholarship) to disadvantaged students of the school.

Ben Hien and Tay Giang communes are two localities where A Vuong Hydropower Plant is located. Most of the students in these communes are children of the Co Tu ethnic group who still face many difficulties.

Every year, A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company devotes resources to giving uniforms and scholarships, helping students in remote areas overcome difficulties to go to school.
