Quang Nam Electricity Company inaugurated a charity house in Duy Xuyen

(QNO) - On May 14, Quang Nam Power Company (PC Quang Nam) held an inauguration ceremony for a gratitude house for the family of Ms. Ngo Thi Chan, La Thap Tay village, Duy Hoa commune, Duy Xuyen district.

Mrs. Ngo Thi Chan is the wife of a martyr, over 90 years old, in difficult circumstances, her house is dilapidated. She currently lives alone, all expenses depend on monthly subsidies from the State.

Ms. Chan thanked the electricity industry for supporting 70 million VND, which gave her family great motivation to build a new, spacious and sturdy house.

In addition to the above house, in 2025, PC Quang Nam will manage and support the construction of 4 other gratitude houses in Que Son, Hiep Duc, Nam Giang districts and Tam Ky city, with a total support budget of 350 million VND. This amount comes from the welfare fund and voluntary contributions of officers and employees of the Central Power Corporation.

PC Quang Nam is urging to speed up the construction progress of gratitude houses, contributing to Quang Nam province completing the proposed roadmap to eliminate temporary houses.
