Thanh Hoa Electricity Company launched the Spring Tree Planting Festival 2024

With the theme "Tet tree planting - Forever grateful to Uncle Ho", continuing to respond to the program "Planting one billion trees" launched by the Government, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company has just launched the Tet tree planting festival of the year of the Dragon 2024.

The Board of Directors, officers, employees and workers of Thanh Hoa Electricity Company participated in tree planting at the launching ceremony of the Spring Tree Planting Festival 2024.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of the Trade Union, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Electricity Company Nghiem Dinh Son shared: In the current environmental context, we are more deeply aware of the teachings of Uncle Ho when he was alive: "Planting trees costs little but brings many benefits" and see more deeply the necessity and great significance of planting trees and afforestation. Planting more trees will contribute to overcoming the destruction and indiscriminate exploitation of forests, preventing erosion, limiting floods, and at the same time creating great potential for material wealth for the lives of each family and society. For cities and industrial centers, planting more trees will limit environmental pollution and keep the air clean. The Chairman of the Company's Trade Union requires all employees and workers to enthusiastically participate in planting trees and afforestation, planting trees must be good trees. Focus on raising awareness and having effective measures to protect forests, while striving to compete to successfully complete all assigned tasks".

Planting trees every spring is an activity that not only educates cadres and employees to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's moral example, but also contributes to building a bright, green, clean and beautiful living environment.

After the launching ceremony, delegates planted 96 Dalbergia tonkinensis trees, 25 green bamboo trees and 83 rose trees in the campus of the Electricity Company of Bim Son - Ha Trung town area.

The launching ceremony of “Tree Planting Festival” is an annual activity of Thanh Hoa Electricity Company that has been maintained for many years. Through this activity, the effectiveness of propaganda work on the role and great effects of planting and caring for trees has been enhanced, creating a widespread movement of people planting trees, every household planting trees, associated with improving the quality of living space, minimizing the harmful effects caused by climate change and contributing to socio -economic development and environmental protection.
