Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, Pham Anh Tuan, shared that the successful organization of the Amazing Binh Dinh Fest week has demonstrated the effectiveness and practical benefits of this activity in promoting socio-economic development.
The UIM F1H2O World Championship Grand Prix of Binh Dinh, the professional motorboat world championship, will take place from March 29-31 at Thi Nai Lagoon, Quy Nhon City.
From March 29th to 31st, at Thi Nai Lagoon, Quy Nhon City, the UIM F1H2O World Championship Grand Prix of Binh Dinh was successfully held, providing spectators from both Vietnam and abroad with spectacular performances from Formula 1 motorboat racers from around the world. Fans witnessed a dramatic race between two racers from the Binh Dinh team - Vietnam: Jonas Andersson (Swedish nationality, 49 years old) and Stefan Arand (Estonian nationality, 21 years old).

The motorboat racers delivered incredibly dramatic chases.
The motorboats of the Binh Dinh - Vietnam team cut through the waves at speeds exceeding 200 km/h, making sharp turns and hugging the buoys along the course, constantly competing fiercely to claim the fastest lap. On the final day of the race, luck did not smile on young racer Stefan Arand (Binh Dinh - Vietnam team). In the 7th lap of this round, Stefan Arand's boat encountered a problem and he had to withdraw from the race.

The jet ski race featured spectacular performances.
Despite an incident that forced Stefan Arand to stop at this stage, thanks to the efforts of both members throughout the Grand Prix of Binh Dinh, the Binh Dinh – Vietnam team still excellently maintained its top position in the IUM F1H2O standings with a total of 72 points. The impressive numbers from the UIM ABP AQUABIKE water motor racing event attracted 55 athletes from 22 countries, and the F1H2O International Professional Motorboat Racing event witnessed incredibly exciting and dramatic competition among 9 teams from 7 countries. According to Chairman Pham Anh Tuan, these international sporting events have opened a turning point for the development of marine sports in Vietnam, spreading the model of sports economics linked to international and regional sporting events throughout the country. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for Binh Dinh to introduce and promote the image, culture, people, potential, and strengths of Binh Dinh with the unique characteristics of this "land of martial arts and literary culture".
Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, visited and encouraged the athletes before the final round of the motorboat race.
“Through live television broadcasts of the race on over 150 national and regional television channels, with tens of thousands of viewers on social media platforms, the image of Binh Dinh has reached beyond national borders, connecting with friends all over the world,” said Mr. Pham Anh Tuan. The success of the race has had a positive impact, not only on the sports sector but also on other areas such as culture and tourism. In particular, it has attracted many large investors to Binh Dinh to research and explore cooperation opportunities… Over the three days of the festival, more than 30,000 visitors came to visit and shop.
Leaders of Binh Dinh province took a commemorative photo with the organizing committee and motorboat racers. Through this event, Binh Dinh province also coordinated with central ministries and agencies, localities, diplomatic representative offices, foreign organizations in Vietnam, and domestic and international businesses to organize an investment promotion conference with the participation of nearly 500 businesses and investors, including 6 billionaires from Thailand, South Korea, Israel, Singapore, etc. At the same time, the province signed a cooperation program with the Ministry of Information and Communications , granted investment approval for 4 projects and signed memoranda of understanding for 17 projects. "We have achieved and exceeded expectations." To ensure the success of this tournament, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, along with relevant departments, agencies, F1 Joint Stock Company, and the organizing unit, have worked closely and diligently over the past period. H2O Racing founder Nicolo di San Germano said that the concept of water sports is not yet very popular in Vietnam. When discussing bringing the race to Vietnam, we started with very vague ideas. However, the organizing committee worked hard with the spirit of "nothing is impossible," and started everything from scratch, building the foundation from the very basics.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province, Pham Anh Tuan, delivered a speech at the UIM F1H2O World Championship Grand Prix of Binh Dinh.
"We have organized races like this in many places around the world, had experiences in many countries, and found that Vietnam brought the greatest success thanks to the extremely strong collaboration and close cooperation between agencies from the private sector to the state," shared Nicolo di San Germano.
Audiences enjoyed the high-speed races on the water.

Spectators braved the sun, sheltering under umbrellas as they filled the stands to watch the tournaments.
According to the founder of H2O Racing, this sport has no age barrier, with both very young and seasoned athletes participating. The Secretary of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, Ho Quoc Dung, stated that bringing the F1H2O motorboat race to Binh Dinh has made a difference. “Up to this point, we can confidently say that we have achieved and exceeded the expectations of the organizers.
