According to this document, the Quang Nam Provincial Tax Department requests organizations and businesses (income-paying agencies) in the province to cooperate when registering for new tax identification numbers (TINs) for individuals and dependents at their units to ensure that the 3 personal identification information is complete and accurate, including: (1) Full name; (2) Date of birth; (3) Citizen ID number or identification number for individuals who do not have a Citizen ID number (For dependents who do not have a Citizen ID number, the income-paying agency is requested to guide the employee to provide the identification number of the dependent, fill in Section 1 - Form No. 20-DK-TH-TCT issued with Circular No. 105/2020/TT-BTC dated December 3, 2020 of the Ministry of Finance and not to request TINs for dependents using birth certificate numbers).
For cases where a tax identification number (TIN) has been issued using a document number other than the Citizen Identification Number (CCCD) or personal identification number, the Quang Nam Provincial Tax Department requests that income-paying agencies review and update the CCCD/personal identification number information for individuals who do not yet have a CCCD using Form 05-ĐK-TH-TCT (for individual taxpayers) and Form 20-ĐK-TH-TCT (for dependents) to fully and accurately update personal identification information (check the "Change registration information" option and fill in Section I. Taxpayer/Dependent registering for tax using ID card/CCCD/Passport, select document type: CCCD).
Income-paying agencies log into the Electronic Tax System (https://thuedientu.gdt.gov.vn), enterprise subsystem, to search for the list of individual taxpayers and dependents whose tax registration information needs to be reviewed, and then submit the tax registration information change request. The method for submitting the tax registration information change request is via the General Department of Taxation's Electronic Portal (link: https://thuedientu.gdt.gov.vn).
- Individuals themselves change their tax registration information; or
- The income-paying agency submits the tax registration information change application (for individuals and dependents) through the General Department of Taxation's electronic tax system, under the "Enterprise" subsystem.
Furthermore, to ensure the completeness and accuracy of tax registration information and to facilitate information exchange between the tax authorities and taxpayers, the Quang Nam Provincial Tax Department requests organizations and businesses to cooperate in reviewing and updating tax registration information in accordance with Official Letter No. 7275/CTQNA-KK dated September 29, 2023, from the Quang Nam Provincial Tax Department.
Implementing the review and standardization of individual tax identification numbers (TINs) is a crucial political task directed by the Government and the Ministry of Finance . The Quang Nam Provincial Tax Department believes that, with the consensus of taxpayers, organizations, and businesses (income-paying agencies), it will contribute to improving the efficiency of state administrative management, meeting the goal of promoting national digital transformation rapidly and effectively, improving the quality of public services, and creating a foundation for the development of a digital government, digital economy, and digital society.
