On March 24th, the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and the Protection of Children's Rights organized the 3rd Binh Thuan Province Singing Contest for People with Disabilities - 2025, with the theme "Songs from the Heart".
The Singing Contest for People with Disabilities is organized to encourage and motivate people with disabilities to be confident, united, and strive for a better life, contributing to raising community awareness of the potential contributions of people with disabilities to cultural life .
This is an opportunity for the talents of people with disabilities to receive the appreciation and respect of the community. This year, there are 8 performing arts groups from districts , towns, and cities, with more than 30 performers who are people with disabilities participating.
Through various singing and musical genres, the performers will deliver songs and melodies praising the glorious Party, the great President Ho Chi Minh, and the patriotic traditions of our people in the process of building and defending the Fatherland; praising the homeland and national unity; praising love for humanity and exemplary individuals who have overcome adversity and contributed to building the homeland.
The competition also serves as a valuable platform, encouraging and providing opportunities for the disabled community to contribute and integrate more deeply into the cultural activities of society. Over the past three years, the competition has provided the disabled community with motivation, meaningful work, and recreation. It is also a place where seeds of goodness are nurtured through singing and playing music amidst the difficulties of life.
The Organizing Committee awarded 3 A prizes to the performances "Tuy Phong New Day" and "The Homeland Calls My Name" from Tuy Phong district and "A Round Trip Around Vietnam" from Phan Thiet city. In addition, there were 4 B prizes and 4 consolation prizes. Regarding the team awards, Tuy Phong district won second place overall (no first prize awarded) in the 2025 Binh Thuan Province Disabled Persons' Singing Contest. Individuals Nguyen Duc Quan (Tanh Linh) and Vo Hoang Linh (La Gi town) received the Emotional Award. Through this contest, the Organizing Committee will select the 3 best performances to participate in the Southern regional competition in Ho Chi Minh City and the national final competition in Hanoi .
