The Hanoi Traditional Craft Village and Street Food and Tourism Festival 2025 is an activity aimed at honoring, exploiting, and promoting the value of long-standing traditional craft villages and modern innovations in Hanoi's craft villages and streets.
Hanoi - a destination for culinary and cultural experiences.
In his opening remarks at the event, Mr. Nguyen Tran Quang, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, stated that in 2025, Hanoi is expected to welcome over 33.7 million visitors, including over 7.82 million international tourists. Total revenue from tourism is estimated to reach over 134,400 billion VND.

This year, Hanoi was also honored in a series of categories selected by prestigious travel magazines and organizations, such as: Top 25 Leading Cultural Destinations in the World, Top 25 Leading Destinations in the World, and the "Sustainable Tourism" category within the framework of the TPO Best Awards 2025… this is proof of the attractiveness of tourism in the capital city.
Hanoi is not only famous for its rich history and culture, but is also known worldwide as an "experiential paradise" with its unique craft villages, ancient craft streets, and sophisticated cuisine.
Every craft village, every craft street, every product, every dish of Hanoi carries within it a story steeped in the values of a region, a place, as well as the hands and minds of the people of Hanoi.
Among Hanoi's 1,350 craft villages and villages with traditional crafts, many have achieved prestigious international accolades. In particular, Bat Trang pottery village and Van Phuc silk village have been recognized by the World Craft Council as part of the global network of innovative craft villages.

With the theme "A hundred exquisite crafts, a thousand flavors spreading," the Hanoi Traditional Craft Village and Street Food and Tourism Festival 2025 is designed in an exhibition space of approximately 5,000m², staged according to the concept of old streets and ancient houses of Hanoi.
The "Traditional Craft Villages Tell Stories of the Past and Present" tourism space showcases typical products and demonstrates traditional crafts from representative villages such as Bat Trang ceramics, Van Phuc silk, Lang Chuong conical hats, and Chang Son fans…
The craft street area showcases the traditional craft streets of Hanoi, with stories of Hang Ma street during the Lunar New Year when calligraphers practiced their craft.

The culinary space of Hanoi - "The Enduring Flavors of the Past" - is captivating with traditional Bat Trang pottery, Tay Ho lotus tea, Lang Vong sticky rice, Phu Thuong sticky rice, Thanh Tri rice rolls, Uoc Le pork sausage… along with signature dishes of the capital such as pho, bun cha, egg coffee, shrimp cakes, snail noodles...
The destination promotion space - "Strolling through Hanoi" - showcases images of famous heritage and tourist destinations such as Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Temple of Literature - National University, One Pillar Pagoda, Turtle Tower, Hanoi Flagpole, etc.
In addition, visitors can also experience pottery making, silk spinning, silk weaving, hat making, rattan weaving, watch culinary demonstrations, and interact with artisans and chefs…
The Hanoi Traditional Craft Village and Street Food and Tourism Festival will take place from December 11th to 14th at the Tay Ho Creative Cultural Space (Trinh Cong Son pedestrian street).
