'Miniature Da Lat' is 100km from Hanoi, visitors come to hunt clouds and camp in the forest

With its wild beauty and pleasant atmosphere, the grassland area with a lake in the forest in Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang has become an attractive destination for tourists to trek, hunt clouds, and enjoy the cool green space like a "miniature Da Lat".

Located about 100km from Hanoi, the green grassland in Dang village (Sa Ly commune, Luc Ngan district) is a new emerging destination on the tourist map of Bac Giang province recently, because of its fresh natural scenery and pleasant atmosphere, likened to "miniature Da Lat". Near the grassland is a lake nestled in the middle of the forest. The water surface is clear all year round and has gentle ripples.

A vast grassland area with rolling, green hills, as beautiful as the West

Huong La, a local photographer, said that this steppe has not yet been exploited for tourism, so few people know about it. It is mainly visited by local people who grow crops and raise livestock naturally. Thanks to that, this place still retains its natural wild beauty, making it a suitable “healing” destination for travel enthusiasts who want to “escape” the dust.

The road to the steppe is quite convenient, visitors can choose to join trekking or contact the locals to travel by specialized motorbike.

Horses are grazed naturally by local people in the green grassland area.

According to the young man, the road to the steppe is quite convenient. If you want to trek, you can park your car at a local's house and then travel about 5km to the steppe and the lake in the forest, taking 1.5 - 2 hours. Or you can hire a local driver to pick you up by motorbike to save energy and time. Because it is a pristine place, not yet exploited for tourism, visitors can experience activities in harmony with nature such as mountain climbing, sightseeing, camping or cloud hunting.

Each season, the steppe has its own beauty. If lucky, visitors also have the opportunity to admire the beautiful sea of ​​floating clouds or the misty mountain peaks when coming here.

Huong La said that tourists can explore the steppe and natural lake at many times of the year. From January to March, the weather here is cool, the sky is clear, and there are many flowers blooming around the forest. From July to September is considered the best time for tourists to experience the steppe, when the natural landscape is filled with green and the weather is pleasant. "The steppe is wide, the air is cool, suitable as a healing destination. However, because tourism activities have not yet been exploited here, visitors need to proactively bring food, drinks and necessary personal items," said 9X.

On the way to the grassland, visitors also have the opportunity to see hills of mua and sim flowers.

If you are going trekking, you can hire a guide and should choose the right shoes and climbing clothes. In addition, you need to follow the safety rules when trekking, use food properly, do not litter, and preserve the natural landscape.

Visitors can explore and experience the steppe with a one-day itinerary, enough to "heal" or temporarily put aside the hustle and bustle of the city.

During the journey to explore the green grasslands in Sa Ly commune, visitors can combine visiting some other attractive destinations, not too far away such as: Peak 975, Van Cung mountain range... In addition, do not forget to enjoy the delicious dishes and specialties of Luc Ngan land such as: Roasted pork, pho, ant egg sticky rice, shoulder cake, sucking cake; or famous fruits such as: Lychee, Duong Canh orange, Huyen Son custard apple...
