Vietnam table tennis team beat Russia 1 match before SEA Games
The Vietnamese table tennis team had a valuable match with the "blue team" Russia before leaving for the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.

Preparing for the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnamese table tennis team had a friendly match with the Russian team on the afternoon of December 4. The Vietnamese table tennis team consists of head coach Vu Van Trung; assistants Phan Huy Hoang and Dinh Quang Linh; 10 athletes including: Dinh Anh Hoang, Nguyen Anh Tu, Nguyen Duc Tuan, Doan Ba Tuan Anh, Le Dinh Duc, Nguyen Thi Nga, Bui Ngoc Lan, Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh, Tran Mai Ngoc and Mai Hoang My Trang. The friendly match took place in an exciting mixed team format (1 mixed doubles match, 1 men's singles match, 1 women's singles match and 1 men's doubles match). The matches were exciting and were observed by experts to be of high quality. Both sides played fiercely and the final victory was 3-1 in favor of the Russian team. Vietnam's only win belonged to Nguyen Anh Tu in the men's singles match. At the end of the competition, the two teams took a group photo. The President of the Vietnam Football Federation invited all members of the two teams to attend a party and gave souvenirs to the Russians before returning home on the morning of December 5. Vietnamese tennis players have valuable practice before SEA Games 33. SEA Games 33 table tennis takes place from December 12 to 19. The Vietnamese table tennis team will leave for Thailand on December 10.
