The 2025 Ngu Hanh Son Quan The Am Festival will be held at the special national relic site - Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot (Ngu Hanh Son district, Da Nang city) in March 2025. |
To serve the Great Festival, Da Nang City has developed a plan to divert and regulate traffic and organize temporary parking lots to meet the travel and parking needs of residents and tourists.
Specifically, cars with 16 seats or more will be arranged to park on Pham Huu Nhat Street (from Le Van Hien to Bui The My); cars with less than 16 seats will be parked on 2.5 lanes of Le Van Hien Street in the direction of Da Nang - Quang Nam . Motorcycles will be arranged to park on the section from Su Van Hanh to the Bien Bridge construction bypass.
In case of unexpected parking demand, the authorities will flexibly expand the parking area to Pham Huu Nhat from Le Van Hien to Truong Sa and organize remote regulation to reduce traffic pressure.
In addition, many routes will be adjusted to serve pedestrians and ensure safety and order in the area where the Grand Ceremony is held. In particular, Su Van Hanh Street (from Le Van Hien to the gate of Quan The Am Pagoda) will be completely closed to vehicles to reserve for two-way pedestrians. Le Van Hien Street (from Minh Mang to Bien Bridge bypass) will have one-way traffic from Quang Nam to the city center, while the opposite direction will have traffic divided and banned at some points.
At the Le Van Hien – Minh Mang intersection, semi-trailers, tractor-trailers and trucks over 13 tons will be banned from traveling. These vehicles will be redirected to Tien Son Bridge and temporarily allowed to travel onto National Highway 14B (from Hoa Cam overpass to Ngu Hanh Son) during rush hours.
Da Nang City Police are assigned to coordinate traffic regulation and control security and order at key intersections, with the right to proactively adjust the scope and duration of traffic bans depending on the actual situation to ensure safety and prevent congestion.
Along with traffic safety, Da Nang City has activated plans to ensure security, fire prevention, food safety and hygiene, and health during the Grand Festival.
According to the plan, the city will mobilize volunteers, organize on-site emergency services, and ensure stable and uninterrupted operation of the power and communication systems. In addition, environmental sanitation, water source control, and food safety will also be monitored by relevant departments and agencies.
The official time for monks, nuns, Buddhists and people to visit the Buddha's relics starts from 7:00 p.m. on May 30, 2025 at Quan The Am Pagoda. The organizers recommend that people follow the instructions for movement, traffic flow and regulations to ensure order throughout the event.
