Da Nang welcomes two new flights

DNO - On the morning of April 2, flight VJ52 from Almaty (Kazakhstan) by A330-300 landed at Da Nang International Airport, bringing nearly 300 passengers on board to visit and experience tourism services in the city.

According to the plan, travel agencies will operate flights from Kazakhstan to Da Nang with a frequency of 4 flights per week from April to October 2025. Specifically, from Almaty to Da Nang there will be 2 flights per week on Tuesdays and Fridays; from Astana to Da Nang there will be 2 flights per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The Department of Tourism and related units organized art performances to welcome and presented flowers and conical hats to all passengers.

Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Tourism, said that the opening of the Almaty (Kazakhstan) - Da Nang flight route marks an important milestone in connecting Da Nang tourism with the Kazakhstan market in particular and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in general, contributing to promoting the attraction of tourists from this new potential market to Da Nang.

It is expected that tonight at Da Nang airport, the Department of Tourism will continue to welcome a new flight to the city. Specifically, flight 8M-454 departing from Yangon airport (Myanmar) landed at Da Nang International Airport carrying the first 80 passengers to visit and travel in Vietnam.

The addition of a new route from Yangon (Myanmar) to Da Nang marks the milestone of 8/10 countries in the Southeast Asian region having direct flights to Da Nang, including Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia and Myanmar, and brings the total number of international routes to Da Nang to 16 regular routes.
