Da Nang City Border Guard helps move people out of dangerous areas

DNO - The Nam Giang International Border Guard Station (Da Nang City Border Guard) mobilized 12 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities, police, militia of La Dee commune and people of Dac Penh village to evacuate a resident's house out of the danger zone.

On October 27, after receiving a report from the family of Mr. Zo Ram Nghim (1987) residing in Dac Penh village, La Dee commune about a landslide behind the house, causing soil and mud to flow down to the main wall of the house, threatening life and property. The Nam Giang International Border Guard Station ( Da Nang City Border Guard) mobilized 12 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities, police, militia of La Dee commune and people of Dac Penh village to support in overcoming the consequences, and at the same time move property out of the dangerous area.

The weather in the area is currently very harsh, with prolonged heavy rain and the potential for further subsidence and landslides, seriously affecting the household. Therefore, the unit has actively promoted and encouraged Mr. Nghim's family to move to a safe place.
