On behalf of Gia Lai province's leaders, there were comrades: Thai Dai Ngoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Rah Lan Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; former provincial leaders; veteran revolutionaries, heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes of the People's Armed Forces; leaders of neighboring provinces, committees, departments, branches, member organizations of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, former leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee; and 300 official delegates representing all walks of life, representatives of ethnic groups, dignitaries, officials of religions, armed forces, businessmen, dignitaries, and intellectuals throughout the province.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee emphasized that the 1st Congress of the Gia Lai Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2025 - 2030 term took place in the context that the whole country in general, Gia Lai province in particular, is facing new opportunities and fortunes in the process of transformation, creation and integration as well as facing many new difficulties and challenges. In that situation, it requires the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front to strongly innovate, clearly define goals, action programs, specific solutions, enhance its role and responsibility before the Party, government and people in participating in building and developing the homeland and the country. The immediate key task is to deploy and concretize the direction of General Secretary To Lam on the activities of the Front with 3 consistencies, 6 focuses, and at the same time proactively and creatively deploy and successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress.
Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyen Ngoc Luong delivered the opening speech at the Congress.
With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development", the Congress has the task of objectively assessing the situation of the great national unity bloc in the province; substantially assessing the results of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the period 2024 - 2025, thereby drawing lessons, proposing the Action Program of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front for the term 2025 - 2030 to meet the requirements of innovation, construction and development of Gia Lai province in the new era; responding to the legitimate aspirations and aspirations of all classes of people.
Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Ngoc Luong suggested that delegates attending the Congress promote their intelligence, experience, sentiment and responsibility, participate in discussions, fully and deeply identify advantages, difficulties, opportunities and challenges, identify key tasks, with the aim of arousing potential and creativity, promoting all resources, creating social consensus, participating in Party building, building a clean and strong state and political system; consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, improving the material and spiritual life of all classes of people in the province, contributing to the successful implementation of the renovation process, actively building Gia Lai to become increasingly rich and civilized.
In the recent period, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in Gia Lai province has closely followed the orientation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, focused on directing and implementing well the assigned political tasks; clearly demonstrating political mettle, intelligence and social responsibility, being a solid bridge between the Party, the State and the People, being a flag of solidarity, gathering the will, belief and aspirations of the People in the period of promoting innovation and integration.
Through the implementation of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, regardless of field or time, there have been positive and effective contributions from the Fatherland Front and its member organizations at all levels in the province; making an important contribution together with the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province to overcome difficulties, comprehensively completing socio-economic development goals, ensuring national defense and security, building a clean and strong Party and political system; making an important contribution to completing the goals set out in the past term.
The campaigns, movements and activities chaired and coordinated by the Fatherland Front have had many innovations and achieved positive results. Notably, the quality of the implementation of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" has been improved; the Campaign "Changing the thinking and working methods of ethnic minorities, gradually rising up to escape poverty sustainably" has had a strong impact on the thinking and working methods of ethnic minorities, many households have known how to organize labor and production, boldly innovated their working methods, applied scientific and technological advances to production, gradually eliminated backward customs, and built a civilized lifestyle.
Mr. Hoan Van Soan, a Tay ethnic (Lo Pang commune), is a typical individual, a pioneer in developing family economy and promoting and mobilizing people to apply scientific advances in production, improving efficiency, contributing to the development of local family economy.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province coordinated with localities, agencies and units to promote propaganda work, mobilize the participation of the entire political system in implementing the policy of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening twinning activities between localities, units and villages and hamlets in ethnic minority areas in the province. The movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind" was effectively implemented, attracting the attention of the social community, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of people in the province. The emulation movement "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025" was actively responded to by a large number of cadres, party members, union members, association members and people of all walks of life, contributing to the Party Committee and government in the province to strive to complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025...
In particular, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has called for support for people in the provinces and cities in the Northern and North Central regions to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, storm No. 10, storm No. 11; at the same time, it called on agencies, units, organizations and individuals to join hands and contribute to support the people in the province to overcome difficulties and overcome the consequences of storm No. 13 and floods (according to preliminary statistics, over 200 billion VND has been mobilized and received up to now), contributing to helping people soon stabilize their lives and restore production.

Speaking at the Congress, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh highly appreciated the close and effective coordination between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Provincial People's Committee in the past period.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh emphasized that coordinating the implementation of key programs and projects is the main, consistent content and a key requirement for Gia Lai to make a breakthrough in the 2025-2030 term. Therefore, it is necessary to promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in participating in the province's key programs and projects.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh requested the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front to coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee to effectively carry out extensive propaganda work so that people can clearly understand the meaning and benefits of the province's key projects. From there, create consensus in society, especially in the work of site clearance, restructuring of crops and livestock towards high-tech agriculture.
Along with that, the Fatherland Front and its member organizations need to strengthen supervision of the implementation of public investment projects and national target programs right from the grassroots level so that the government can promptly grasp practical difficulties. Actively launch patriotic emulation movements in the direction of concretizing development pillars such as: "All people participate in environmental protection, sustainable tourism development", "Each commune and ward is a bright spot in administrative reform".

Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy noted that one of the important political tasks ahead of the Fatherland Front at all levels is to focus highly on implementing well the steps of consultation and introduction of candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2030 term; propagandizing and mobilizing people to exercise their rights and obligations to participate in the election, ensuring the selection of people with sufficient virtue and talent, meeting the requirements and tasks of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels in supervising and deciding on important issues of the country and localities.
Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy presented 30 billion VND from the Central Relief Fund to support Gia Lai province in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, soon restoring production and stabilizing people's lives.

The Front and its member organizations need to focus on closely coordinating with the government and accompanying the political system to overcome all difficulties and challenges in carrying out common tasks. Enhance the role of chairing and negotiating unified actions among member organizations to promote the strength of cultural identity and the strength of great national unity; strongly arouse the will of self-reliance, self-strengthening, the spirit of innovation, creativity, and the desire to contribute; join hands and unite to build Gia Lai province into a fairly developed province of the country. Further improve the quality of social supervision and criticism; promote the role of the people in supervising the activities of the government, cadres, and party members; in preventing and combating corruption, waste, negativity and fighting to prevent and repel degradation, "self-evolution", and "self-transformation". In particular, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Dai Ngoc proposed promoting the important role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations in information and propaganda work; in the process of consultation and introduction of candidates as well as supervising the election process and coordinating the effective implementation of contents related to the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, to successfully organize the election, truly becoming a festival for all people.
Provincial Party Secretary Thai Dai Ngoc also requested the members of the new Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, constantly innovating, creating, leading and directing to make the activities of the Fatherland Front increasingly substantive, high-quality and effective, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

The Congress announced the results of the consultation to elect positions in the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 2025-2030 term.
Previously, at the first working session (afternoon of December 3), the Congress approved the Personnel Plan of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term I, 2025-2030; unanimously agreed to elect 134 members to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term I. Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee was trusted to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term 2025-2030.
At the same time, the consultation elected a delegation of 18 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term.
