In the face of the escalating conflict between India and Pakistan, on May 10, the Vietnamese Embassy in India issued a warning to ensure the safety of citizens living, working, and studying in the host country.
The recommendations of the Embassy of Vietnam in India include the following contents:
1. Regularly follow the news updates of India on reputable local media. Do not go to conflict areas, areas where security is not guaranteed, especially the Jammu and Kashmir region where fighting is taking place between India and Pakistan.
2. Vietnamese citizens in the area must strictly comply with regulations and instructions on security and safety measures of local authorities; proactively take necessary security and safety measures for themselves and their relatives.
3. Regularly keep in contact with the Embassy, in case of emergency, need support and need to know information about citizen protection plans.

In a related development, immediately after the fierce conflict between India and Pakistan on the night of May 6 and early morning of May 7, the Vietnamese Embassy in Pakistan also issued recommendations to Vietnamese citizens through community groups on social networks.
The recommendation states that currently, Pakistan and India are having military conflicts in some disputed areas, which could affect the security and safety of people in Pakistan.
To avoid possible risks, people should limit travel, avoid dangerous places, pay attention to the recommendations of local authorities. People need to update information and contact the Embassy when necessary, proactively prepare essential supplies and make appropriate evacuation plans.
