The exhibition displays 30 watercolor paintings by artist Minh Đàm – an artist with dual Vietnamese and Polish citizenship – depicting the beauty of Vietnamese landscapes, life, and people through his personal and emotional lens.
The artworks not only showcase sophisticated painting techniques but also evoke cultural depth, memories, and national identity, reflecting a sacred connection to their homeland from the perspective of an artist living between two cultures.
The program attracted over 200 guests, including artists, cultural activists, representatives from local agencies and organizations, friends who love Vietnam and Poland, and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Poland.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Ha Hoang Hai highly appreciated the organization of the exhibition, considering it an important highlight in the series of activities commemorating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The Ambassador emphasized that cultural and artistic exchanges play a practical role in deepening the friendship between the people of the two countries, contributing to building a sustainable foundation for comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Poland in the fields of politics, economics, culture, and education. The Ambassador also expressed gratitude to the Asia- Pacific Museum for always accompanying the Embassy and the Vietnamese community in promoting Vietnamese culture in the host country.
Dr. Jozef Zalewski, Director of the Asia- Pacific Museum, expressed his appreciation for the effective cooperation between the Museum and the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland over the past period.
Dr. Jozef Zalewski highly appreciated the role of the Vietnamese community in Poland in actively introducing the image of Vietnam, its people, and culture to the Polish public. He also stated that, given the interest of the Polish people, the Asia-Pacific Museum plans to have many activities and plans in the future to bring Vietnamese culture and traditions closer to the local people. One of these is the opening of a new independent exhibition space about Vietnam at the Museum, thereby providing the public with a more multifaceted and vivid view of the beautiful country of Vietnam.
Artist Minh Dam expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from the public and the dedicated support from the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland and the Asia-Pacific Museum. He shared that his works are the result of exploring and blending Vietnamese and Polish cultures, and he hopes to continue exhibiting his artwork in Vietnam later this year in Hanoi, thereby contributing to the series of events commemorating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Immediately following the opening ceremony, the spectacular artistic performance by the Bluewave band, featuring Vietnamese, Polish, and international music, left a deep impression on the attendees. The gentle, soulful melodies, along with the performance of traditional instruments, created a vibrant artistic atmosphere, contributing to strengthening the connection and cultural appreciation between audiences of both countries.
At the end of the program, guests and audience members had the opportunity to enjoy traditional Vietnamese dishes in a warm and friendly atmosphere, leaving many profound impressions of an evening rich in emotion, art, and genuine friendship between Vietnam and Poland.
