Colonel Nguyen Thanh Liem holds the position of Director of Quang Binh Provincial Police.

On October 11, the Provincial Police Department held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the representative of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Public Security announced the Minister's decision to transfer Colonel Nguyen Thanh Liem, Director of Dak Nong Provincial Police, to take up the position of Director of Quang Binh Provincial Police.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long presented the Decision to appoint the Director of Quang Binh Provincial Police to Colonel Nguyen Thanh Liem.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Liem (born in 1975), hometown Ha Tinh city (Ha Tinh province), has a PhD in People's Police; senior political theory; former Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Provincial Police; former Director of Dak Nong Provincial Police since December 2023.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Long hoped that in his new position, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Liem would further take advantage of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee; coordinate effectively with all levels and sectors in ensuring security and order, building the Party and building the force; maintain and promote internal solidarity, successfully complete all tasks assigned by the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee; and build an increasingly disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security force.

Quang Binh Provincial Party Secretary Vu Dai Thang presented flowers to congratulate Colonel Nguyen Thanh Liem, Director of the Provincial Police Department.

Congratulating Colonel Nguyen Thanh Liem, Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee Vu Dai Thang emphasized that Colonel Nguyen Thanh Liem is a capable officer, matured from practice, and experienced many working positions. In his new position, he hopes that the new Director of the Provincial Police will continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, overcome difficulties, and together with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Provincial Police Department's Board of Directors, unite, promote democracy, collective intelligence, maintain discipline, stay close to the grassroots, and be closely attached to the people; perform well the core function, closely coordinate with departments and branches to advise the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to lead and direct to firmly ensure security and order; build the Party and build the Quang Binh Police force to be increasingly clean and strong. In the immediate future, direct to absolutely ensure security and safety for the Party Congresses at all levels, the 18th Provincial Party Congress, and the 14th National Party Congress.

In his speech accepting the assignment, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Liem pledged to fulfill all assigned tasks; promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, and responsibility in performing political tasks, Party building, and force building; and build a clean and strong provincial police force to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
