Ensuring means of transportation for people traveling during Tet 2025

According to information from the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee Office on December 29th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has issued a directive on organizing the Lunar New Year celebration in 2025 (Year of the Snake).

The Standing Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee requested that functional units proactively plan to ensure sufficient means of transporting goods and public transportation so that people can travel conveniently and safely during the Tet holiday. Attention should also be paid to urban beautification, including streets, residential areas, and rural roads, ensuring they are bright, green, clean, and beautiful.

Authorities in Bac Lieu province have planned to ensure sufficient transportation for goods and public transport to facilitate safe and convenient travel for the people during the 2025 Tet holiday.

Furthermore, localities and units that organize fireworks displays during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025 must ensure that the activities are in line with their capacity for social mobilization and local conditions, while maintaining absolute safety, economy, and creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere to meet the people's needs for celebrating the Spring Festival; state budget funds must not be used for fireworks displays.

At the same time, upholding the nation's tradition of solidarity and mutual support, we will accelerate the implementation of poverty reduction programs, eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; effectively implement social security policies, and take care of the material and spiritual lives of the people during Tet, ensuring that every family and every person can enjoy the Spring Festival and celebrate Tet.

The Provincial Police Force, in coordination with the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command, proactively monitors the situation, ensuring political security, social order and safety, and cybersecurity; and has effective plans to handle situations, avoiding passivity and surprises.

In particular, focus on strengthening patrol and control work to ensure traffic order and safety; and preventing and combating fires and explosions. Strictly enforce regulations on the production, import, storage, transportation, trading, and use of fireworks and explosives.
