Naval Region 3 Command helps people in Gia Lai province rebuild houses damaged by floods

DNO - On the morning of December 4, the Naval Region 3 Command launched the "Quang Trung Campaign" to help people in communes in Gia Lai province (formerly Binh Dinh) rebuild houses damaged by floods.

Speaking at the task assignment to the forces, Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien emphasized: The Naval Region 3 Command launched "Quang Trung Campaign" to mobilize forces and means to coordinate with Gia Lai province to build houses for families affected by the recent floods.

Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien requested the entire force to strictly implement the Prime Minister 's Official Dispatch No. 234 dated November 30, 2025 on the "Quang Trung Campaign".

Officers and soldiers of agencies and units deployed forces and means closely, quickly organized mobile formations to damaged localities to help people with a spirit of consensus and unity: "Until the people's houses are not finished, the army will not leave its position."

After the launching ceremony, the Naval Region 3 Command coordinated with the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command to establish 6 teams of workers with 100 people (each team has 12-17 officers and soldiers, including 3-5 construction workers) to directly build 6 houses for people in the flooded areas of Tuy Phuoc Dong commune, former Binh Dinh province (now Gia Lai province).

According to the plan, the completion and handover date is before January 31, 2026, but the Naval Region 3 Command will strive to complete the houses for the people 7-10 days earlier.
