Ensure smooth communication during the April 30 and May 1 holidays

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 39/CD-TTg dated April 17, 2025 of the Prime Minister on ensuring traffic order and safety to serve people's travel needs during the April 30 - May 1, 2025 holiday; The Ministry of Science and Technology issued Official Dispatch No. 792/BKHCN-CVT dated April 18, 2025 requesting telecommunications enterprises to deploy a number of contents to ensure smooth communication during the April 30 - May 1, 2025 holiday.

Telecommunications enterprises such as: Viettel Military Industry - Telecommunications Group; Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group VNPT; MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation; GTel Global Mobile Telecommunications Joint Stock Company; Vietnamobile Mobile Telecommunications Joint Stock Company; Vietnam Maritime Electronic Information Company Limited; FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company; CMC Telecommunications Infrastructure Joint Stock Company and other telecommunications service providers with network infrastructure

Specifically, enterprises organize to disseminate the content of the Official Dispatch to all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the unit, and at the same time seriously implement the Prime Minister's instructions in the Official Dispatch, ensuring discipline and safety in traffic and travel activities during the holidays.

Enterprises should strengthen communication assurance plans, develop specific plans, and arrange staff, civil servants, public employees, and workers to ensure communication during the holidays.

Deploy solutions to ensure network security; ensure smooth communication to serve the communication needs of state agencies, organizations, businesses and telecommunications service users during the holidays.

Develop a plan to expand transmission capacity and domestic and international connection bandwidth to ensure no network congestion at times when there are large numbers of subscribers accessing the network.

Increase the number of BTS mobile vehicles to crowded areas such as squares, parks, flower gardens, walking streets, fireworks display areas, organizing the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, national reunification,... especially in areas where military parades and marches of forces are held to be ready to supplement the arising traffic, ensure smooth communication, no network congestion, and maximally meet the communication needs of telecommunications service users.

Prepare plans for incident handling, information response, and mutual response between businesses in the same area when necessary (roaming, sharing, shared infrastructure, etc.) to ensure maximum response to emerging needs for telecommunications services of agencies, organizations, businesses, and service users.

Coordinate with relevant units to promptly detect and prevent acts of taking advantage of telecommunications networks and the Internet to send and disseminate information with illegal content, and to disseminate viruses that destroy electronic information portals/pages. Be ready to support, guide, and warn service users about fraudulent acts on the internet by subjects who take advantage of telecommunications networks to commit fraud and misappropriate property in order to proactively prevent and avoid them.

Ensure good security, safety, and fire prevention at agencies and units during the holidays. Prepare plans to ensure communication in disaster prevention, search and rescue if natural disasters or sudden catastrophes occur during the holidays.
